On completion of the course, candidates will be able to conduct research for design collections, create and develop original designs, and prepare detailed tech packs. The course enables learners to create garment patterns, construct prototypes, and evaluate design development processes. In addition, candidates will gain skills to make necessary alterations and corrections in garments while efficiently maintaining work areas, tools, machines, and computer systems, ensuring health, safety, and security standards at the workplace.
