On completion of this course, candidates will be able to explain essential health, hygiene, safety, and security protocols for early years children while fostering positive, respectful relationships that emphasize gender mainstreaming and inclusivity. They will gain an understanding of children’s rights and their protection, services for children with special needs, and developmentally appropriate activities. Candidates will also learn to select materials and methods for active learning, organize and manage special events and programs, and effectively plan and execute activities for children. Additionally, the course covers effective communication with parents/families, techniques for assessment and record maintenance, and strategies for using feedback to improve training and enhance children’s learning experiences.
