On completion of the course, candidates will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fire science, including types of fire, suppression agents, and fire behavior across various environments such as industrial, rural, marine, and aviation settings. They will demonstrate proficiency in handling, maintaining, and operating firefighting equipment and systems, apply appropriate firefighting, rescue, and evacuation techniques in high-risk and emergency situations, conduct risk assessments, and manage occupational hazards effectively. Additionally, they will be capable of maintaining essential documentation, using mmunication systems efficiently, and leading or participating in fire drills, search and rescue operations, and disaster response efforts in adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
