Certificate in Artificial Insemination Technology is a skill-based course aimed at developing practical competencies in animal breeding and livestock support services. On completion of the course, candidates will be equipped to provide preventive care and first aid to livestock and poultry, assist in disease prevention and control measures, and support animal husbandry extension and welfare initiatives. The course also prepares learners to contribute to breed conservation, disaster management, and the implementation of livestock development programs. In addition, candidates will be capable of assisting in marketing livestock inputs and products, and supporting artificial insemination and breeding services for small farm animals in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.
